ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT:

The department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering (ETCE) is emerged as a technical hub for advanced skilling and quality learning since its inception, 2014. It is endowed with experienced faculties and supportive staff members for teaching and mentoring the students. The department provides propitious environment to realise ever changing nature of technology and to adapt it. The department aims to provide qualitative approach in learning and industry oriented skilling to expand the sphere of knowledge of the students which will enable them to perform efficiently and practice ethically. Most of the laboratories under ETCE Department are well equipped with Communication Lab, Electronic Devices & Circuits Lab, Digital Electronics Lab, Microprocessor and Microcontroller Lab and so on.

To be the most acclaimed Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Department by imparting contemporary but sustainable technical education and training where pursuit of knowledge and excellence shall reign supreme.

 

MISSION:

  • Focusing on standardized Diploma Engineering education, through transmitting viable and appropriate technology to its prime stakeholders.
  • To provide learning atmosphere well equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructures.
  • To enhance the personalities of students in order to imbue them with proactive leadership, innovativeness, entrepreneurial skills, and essential professional capabilities.
  • To play a role in increasing the rate of skilled manpower.

 

PROGRAMME EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEOs):

PEO-1: To be well acquainted with fundamentals of Electronics & Tele-Communication Engineering for leading a successful career in industry or pursuing higher education.

PEO-2: To foster techno-commercial skills for innovative solutions in Electronics & Communication Engineering or related areas.

PEO-3: To inculcate professional and ethical attitude, team spirit, leadership qualities and effective communication skills among the students and make them aware of their social responsibilities.

PROGRAM SPECIFIC OUTCOMES (PSOs):

On successful completion, Civil Engineering graduates will be able to:

PSO-1: Diploma holder will be able to prepare themselves for the upcoming cutting-edge technologies in the field of electronics and telecommunication engineering.

PSO-2: Apply appropriate methodology and modern engineering tools through expert lectures, teaching approaches to meet the international standards in the area of Semiconductor and allied fields.
